Fibady connects to Odoo via API (instance + credential from inside the app) and syncs journal entries, chart of accounts, journals and banks for each company. It produces the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow of each company and of the consolidated group in minutes, covering what Odoo's native reporting does not: several companies with different charts and currencies in one view, unlimited P&L levels, budgets by area and an AI agent.
What does Fibady sync from Odoo?
- Posted journal entries (account.move) with lines, accounts, journals and counterparties
- Each company's chart of accounts
- Bank transactions and statements
- Sales and purchase invoices for the Invoicing module
- Odoo analytic accounts as dimensions
Where does Odoo multi-company reporting stop, and how does Fibady cover it?
Odoo consolidates well when companies share chart and currency; it struggles with different charts, intercompany eliminations and policy-based FX. Fibady maps each company to a group chart, applies FX per entity and per statement, eliminates intercompany transactions and leaves you a consolidation traceable to the Odoo entry.
Closing entries in Odoo
Fibady detects Odoo's year-end and adjustment entries and excludes them from the P&L line by line, so the year's result is neither doubled nor lost. If a closing entry mixes closing and operating lines, it flags it for review.
How to connect
- Create your Fibady account and choose "Connect Odoo".
- Enter your instance URL and the read credential; if something fails, the screen tells you exactly what (credential, ERP not responding, company without a chart of accounts).
- Choose which Odoo company maps to each Fibady company and what each one brings: entries, invoices, banks.
- Classify the chart of accounts (in bulk, by prefix or with AI) and schedule the sync: daily, weekly or monthly.
