Cash flow forecasting and runway from your banks and your ERP

Автор: Сантьяго Вильоне

Your cash, in one figure.

Total availability, every bank and every currency in one view, and every transaction with its counterparty.

Fibady classifies each entity's bank transactions by category, builds the direct cash flow from them and projects cash by day, week and month. You see how much you have, what comes in and out, how much you can really draw counting credit lines and advances, and how many months of runway are left. Per entity and for the group.

Can I see the balance and availability of all my bank accounts?

Yes: Fibady brings every bank account into one view with the balance, available funds and credit of each, in its own currency. At a glance you know how much cash there is, how much you can use and how much headroom is left on your credit facilities, per entity and for the group.

How are bank transactions classified?

Fibady classifies them by category with cascading IF / THEN rules you define with priority (counterparty, description, amount, account), with a preview of how many transactions each rule reaches before applying it. When the system detects a repeated pattern it proposes the rule and you accept or discard it. What is left you can classify in bulk or hand to the AI, and whatever no rule reaches stays "Unclassified", counted in the Control Center.

What is the difference between direct and indirect cash flow?

Indirect starts from profit and adjusts for non-cash items and working-capital changes: it comes from the books and explains why cash changed. Direct starts from actual receipts and payments in the banks: it is the one you forecast with. Fibady produces both and checks that they tie. More in the glossary: direct vs indirect cash flow.

How does financing enter the forecast?

Invoice advances, credit lines, loans and their maturities are recorded in the financing module, with their rules, and show up in the projection: real availability (cash plus undrawn), financial cost and repayment calendar. It is the piece no other FP&A tool in this segment offers inside the cash flow.

How Fibady does it

  • Transactions from the ERP or imported per account (Excel or CSV with template); bank, cash, card and crypto accounts
  • Account view with balance, available funds and credit, each in its own currency
  • Classification with cascading rules (priority and preview), automatic suggestions, in bulk and with AI
  • Daily, weekly and monthly projection with rules (6 methods) and alternative plans
  • Runway and burn rate per entity and group
  • Financing: credit lines, advances and their rules; real availability
  • Check that direct cash flow, indirect cash flow and bank balance tie

Transactions arrive from Odoo and Holded when the ERP holds them, or you import them per account in Excel or CSV. If you are comparing with a treasury-only tool, see Fibady vs Agicap.

Today transactions come from the connected ERP (for example Odoo or Holded) or you import them per account in Excel or CSV with Fibady's template; you can export them in the same format to fix and re-upload. Direct bank connection (Open Banking) is in the catalogue as coming next.
