# Fibady FAQ: multi-entity FP&A, pricing, integrations, AI

Everything we get asked in demos, answered directly. If something is missing, write to contact{'@'}fibady.com.

### What is Fibady?

Fibady is FP&A software for companies and groups with several legal entities. It connects to your ERP and your banks and produces the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow of each entity and of the consolidated group, with budgets, forecasts, management control, metrics and native AI. It is not an ERP, it does not invoice and it does not keep the books.

### Which ERPs does it integrate with?

With more than 25 ERPs, with a live API for Odoo, Holded, Tango, SOS Contador and EternumPRO. If yours has no connector, export the general journal to Excel and Fibady adapts it, or use the API. New connectors on request, for a one-off fee.

### How much does it cost?

{price} per company per month, all included. Two months free with annual billing. From 10 entities, a Groups plan with an agreed price.

### How long until it is running?

1 to 4 hours: the time it takes to map your chart of accounts to Fibady's schema. With an ERP on a live API (Odoo, Holded, Tango, SOS Contador or EternumPRO), the first connection is ready in minutes.

### Does the AI see my data?

Only if you decide so. The AI agent is optional and enabled per account. Financial calculations are always done by Fibady's engine; the AI explains and writes, it does not calculate.

### How does multi-entity consolidation work?

Each company connects separately, with its own ERP, currency and chart of accounts. Fibady maps them to a common tree and gives you the group consolidation: intercompany accounts, or the entries you tag as intercompany, are left out of the total. From the total you can drill down to the journal entry in the company that produced it.

### Can I have my own P&L format?

Yes. The account tree is editable with no depth limit: you create nodes, group them, reorder them and define which accounts belong to each one, and the AI can suggest the classification. You can keep a management tree that differs from the statutory one, plus separate views by business unit, branch or project on the same accounting.

### What about the balance sheet and cash flow?

All three statements are there: P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with the statutory statement next to the management view. Indirect cash flow is calculated automatically from the accounting; direct cash flow comes from actual bank transactions. You can view any of them cumulative, monthly or by variance, and compare it with the budget, a forecast or the prior period.

### Does it handle multiple currencies?

Yes, natively. Each company and each bank keeps its own currency, and the group reports in the currency you choose, with the exchange rates you set per currency and period. Change the reporting currency and the reports recalculate. That includes scenarios with two parallel exchange rates, common across Latin America.

### Can I see the detail behind every number?

Yes. Every figure has a magnifier: it shows the accounts that make it up and, one click deeper, the journal entries with their description. It is how you answer "where does this come from?" without opening the ERP.

### What happens with closing entries or management adjustments?

Year-end closing entries are detected and excluded from the management P&L so the result is not distorted. You can also post your own management adjustments (accruals, reclassifications) without touching the official books.

### How do I know the numbers tie out before I present them?

With the Control Center. It checks every loaded month: that debits equal credits, that assets equal liabilities plus equity, and that no accounts are left unclassified and no bank transactions uncategorized. A green, amber or red status tells you what is missing and takes you straight to fix it.

### How do budgets work?

They are built by area or business unit, each with an owner. Every area lead loads their budget, signs it, and from then on it is locked; the group consolidation builds itself. Then, month by month, actuals are compared with the budget automatically: variance and percentage achieved by line, area, business unit, company or group.

### What does "signing" a budget mean?

It is the area owner's commitment. Once signed, it cannot be edited without a new version, and who signed it and when is on record. It is what stops the budget from being a spreadsheet that changes every week.

### Can I build forecasts and scenarios?

Yes. Forecasts are built with rules on any line (percentage growth, average of the last months, fixed value, seasonality, expenses like last year) or with formulas combining your own drivers (units, price, headcount). The AI can also propose them from the history, and you review them before saving. Financial plans bring together P&L, balance sheet and cash: you can run several in parallel (base, optimistic, conservative), compare them with actuals and lock the one that gets approved. It works as a rolling forecast: every closed month moves the projection forward.

### Can I use my own drivers and metrics?

Yes. The library ships the usual financial metrics (margins, solvency, structure and return ratios) already calculated, and you can create your own with formulas over accounts or with external data by connecting a Google Sheet: active customers, ARPA, units sold, average price. Those metrics can then be used in charts, forecasts and budgets.

### Can I plan headcount costs?

Yes, with the People module: your headcount with the fully loaded cost of each person, the org chart by area and manager, and scenarios for hires, raises and departures with their month-by-month impact. It covers planning and cost: Fibady does not run payroll.

### How do I analyze variances between actual and plan?

With management control. You compare two series (actual vs. plan, plan vs. plan or plan vs. actual) on the accounting (P&L, balance sheet and the bridge from profit to cash, to understand why the cash variance differs from the profit variance) and on the banks. It has two views: Detail, for the controller, and Summary, for management, with a headline, waterfall, top 10 variances and month-by-month variance.

### How is bank data loaded?

By importing each account's transactions exactly as the bank exports them. Fibady classifies every transaction by category with automatic rules you define, suggestions that recognize repeat counterparties, bulk classification and AI classification, and flags whatever is still unclassified so you can resolve it in one click.

### Can I see daily cash and project it?

Yes. Direct cash flow can be viewed daily, weekly or monthly, per bank or consolidated, with the last closed month marked. From there you forecast with rules (expected collections, recurring payments, seasonality) and compare plan against actual.

### Does it cover financing?

Yes. You see every bank account with its balance, available funds and credit in a single view, and inside direct cash flow you manage credit lines, advances and loans with their rules. That gives you the group's real availability: what is liquid plus what you can still draw. It is a view few systems offer and one a group CFO uses every week.

### Does it do bank reconciliation?

No. Fibady imports and classifies bank transactions and shows cash next to the accounting, but it does not reconcile the statement against the ledger: that reconciliation stays in your ERP.

### What does the invoicing module show?

Your companies' invoices by customer and by supplier: receivables aging by due-date bucket, what is outstanding with suppliers, and days to collect with their trend. You can group customers or suppliers to analyze them together and slice everything by product, sales rep or business unit, in pivot tables or charts.

### Does it calculate sales commissions?

Yes. You define the commission rule per rep (percentage on sales, on collections, with thresholds) and Fibady calculates it every month from the actual invoices. It gets commissions paid without spreadsheets and shows the commercial cost per business line.

### Can I analyse sales without having everything in the ERP?

Yes. If sales live in another system (point of sale, e-commerce platform, CRM), they are loaded via Excel with a converter built for your format and cross-referenced with the accounting.

### Can I see margin by customer or by product?

Yes, with commercial analysis. It has three sections: Overview, Sales (what you sell) and Purchases (what you buy), and shows the margin between the two by customer, supplier, product and period.

### What does AI do inside Fibady?

Four things. FibadyGPT, the in-app chat, answers with your real numbers ("where can I save based on the last closed month?", "which branch lost margin?") and stays open while you navigate. Fibady Agents split the work like a finance team. AI reports prepare a technical report for the finance team and a written explanation for management or partners. And the AI helps you operate: it proposes the classification of accounts and bank transactions, and forecasts from history that you review.

### Does the AI calculate the numbers?

No. The numbers are calculated by Fibady's financial engine, which is deterministic: same data, same result, every time. The AI reads those results, explains them and compares them. It never invents a figure.

### Can I use Fibady from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?

Yes, with the Fibady connector (MCP). From your own AI you ask about the numbers, audit the month, build projections from history and get it done in Fibady: classify, create the plan or set up the dashboard. Always with your permission, only for the companies you choose, with separate read and write permissions, and you can revoke it whenever you want.

### Is my data shared with AI providers?

Only if you decide so. AI use is optional and enabled per account; when it is on, the query is sent to the model with the data needed to answer it, with role permissions limiting what each user can see. You can use the whole platform without enabling AI.

### Is there a usage limit on the AI?

The plan includes 5 million AI tokens per month, which do not roll over. That covers the normal workload of a finance team; usage beyond it is billed separately.

### What are Fibady Agents?

A team of AI agents inside the platform. A virtual CFO takes your question and splits it among specialists in P&L, treasury, close, budget and collections. There are predefined agents and skills, and you can create your own: you call them by mentioning them in the chat and see them in an org chart.

### How many users can I have?

As many as you need, at no extra cost. The price is per company, not per user.

### Can I control who sees what?

Yes, with roles and permissions: which companies and which pages each person sees, and whether they can view, edit or delete. An area lead can see and budget only their own scope; a partner can see the consolidation without going into the detail; the external accountant can have access to data loading only.

### Is it a good way to give the CEO or the partners access?

It is one of the most common uses. Dashboards by role, a report explained in plain language, and access from mobile or from their AI chat. The point is that the CEO sees how the business is doing without waiting for the monthly report.

### What languages is Fibady available in?

The interface is available in 10 languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. Each person picks their own, along with light or dark mode.

### What do you need to get started?

Three tables: the journal or general ledger, invoicing and bank movements, exactly as they come out of your system. Accounting alone is enough to start. We build the converter for your format; after that you upload the files in one click each month, or we connect the API so it updates on its own.

### Does Fibady change anything in my ERP?

No. The connection is read-only. Fibady never writes, edits or deletes anything in your systems.

### Where is the data hosted?

On AWS, in Fibady's own infrastructure, with encryption in transit and at rest, backups and role-restricted access. We sign confidentiality agreements with customers who require them.

### What happens if I change ERP?

The company is reconnected to the new system and the history stays in Fibady. It is one of the reasons groups use it during migrations: the management view does not break even when the system underneath changes.

### Does it work with accounting from different countries?

Yes. We work with groups in Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Bolivia and Brazil. Each company keeps its local chart of accounts and is mapped to the group's management tree.

### Who does the implementation?

Our team, with you. Kickoff session, data-load plan, chart of accounts mapping, validation against your accounting and up to two review rounds. The demo runs on sample data; real data comes in during onboarding.

### What do you need from my side?

Complete data in the format we ask for, and access to the ERP or the API within the first 7 days. The faster that arrives, the faster the group consolidates.

### What support do I get afterwards?

Direct support by chat and email with the same team that did your implementation, founders included. We build Fibady with our customers: whatever you are missing, we listen, and if several customers need it, we build it.

### I am a fractional CFO or an accounting firm. Can I use Fibady for my clients?

Yes, and it is one of the fastest-growing uses. You manage all your clients' companies from one account, with separate access for each of them. We have a partner programme with a recurring commission on the billing of the clients you bring, and the option for you to charge for the implementation. Book a call and we will go through it.

### Can I offer it under my own brand?

There is no white label today. Your clients see Fibady, and you appear as the partner who set it up and keeps it running.

### Why is pricing per company and not per user?

Because Fibady's work grows with entities, not with the people reading the reports. We want your CEO, your team, your advisor and your board in, at no extra cost.

### What happens if I change ERP?

Connect the new one, map the chart of accounts (1–4 h) and the history from the old one is kept. It is one of the moments Fibady is used most: keeping reporting stable while the system underneath changes.

### How much does onboarding cost?

From $500 by module, paid upfront on the monthly plan and waived in full on the annual plan. It covers mapping, history load and reconciling the reports with you. If your team prefers to do it alone, it can.

### Who is behind Fibady?

Fibady Technologies SL, Barcelona. Founded by Santiago Viglione (CEO, former CFO and PwC auditor), Alex Toro (CTO) and Mauro Ferreiro (LATAM). Funded with own capital and an ENISA loan.

### Does Fibady work in Argentina, Mexico and the rest of Latin America?

Yes. It has customers in Spain and several Latin American countries, supports local ERPs via CSV or connector, and handles several exchange rates per country. Pricing in USD.

### What is FP&A?

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is the function that turns accounting into decisions: reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Accounting records what happened; FP&A explains why and what comes next. Fibady automates the mechanical part of FP&A for groups of companies.

### What is financial consolidation?

Financial consolidation is the process of combining the financial statements of several entities in the same group into a single P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, as if they were one company, eliminating transactions between them.

### What is the difference between direct and indirect cash flow?

Direct cash flow shows actual receipts and payments from the banks; indirect starts from accounting profit and adjusts for non-cash items and working-capital changes. Both reach the same change in cash by different routes. Fibady produces both and checks that they tie.

### What if my ERP is SAP or a customised version?

We connect it all the same. We have a team that specialises in API connectors to build the connector for your ERP as it is: SAP, where every installation is different, or versions of ERPs we already connect that carry their own developments. It is quoted separately as a one-off, and meanwhile you can start with the journal in CSV.
